Critical fuel system component – Installed on the common rail, this sensor measures instantaneous fuel pressure inside the rail and sends a voltage signal to the ECM. The ECM uses this data to precisely control fuel injection quantity, injection timing, and rail pressure regulation for optimal combustion.
Restores engine power and efficiency – A failing rail pressure sensor causes low power, rough idling, black smoke, poor fuel economy, or engine derate. Replacing it restores proper fuel delivery and combustion.
